As such, Elsbeth Knott, MA, MS, LAT, ATR uses various modalities to achieve the best possible outcomes on an individualized basis for each client. These may include: Narrative therapy, Mindfulness therapy, Phototherapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectic Behavioral therapy, and Art therapy. After an assessment and discussion of the individual’s needs, the therapy will begin. Ms Knott, MA, MS, LAT, ATR has worked at a variety of treatment settings including subacute residential treatment, community mental health centers, and psychiatric hospitals.
As a child, a dreamer, she discovered the process of art making was both transformative and empowering. As an artist, Ms Knott uses collages, works on paper and embroideries as her personal means of expression. She enjoys spending time with her rescue pets as well as family and being in nature. Ms. Knott has specialized trained in Permaculture Design. As an individual with unseen disabilities, she understands the myriad issues this can bring up.
